Der gebürtige Syrer ist nicht nur ein Pendler zwischen den Kulturen, vor seiner heutigen Tätigkeit als Allgemeinmediziner, war er nämlich ein gefeierter Theaterautor. „Habe die Ehre“, Dr. Amir! Für dieses am Wiener Nestroytheater uraufgeführte Stück bekam er 2013 sogar den Nestroy-Preis. Aber alles schön der Reihe nach, wie bei jeder guten Anamnese: Nach seinem Dramaturgie-Studium in Aleppo, war Ibrahim eigentlich auf dem Weg nach Dublin und blieb in Wien hängen. Der Liebe wegen. Aber keine Angst, jetzt wird es nicht kitschig – immerhin befinden Sie sich noch immer auf der Homepage der Primärversorgung Josefstadt und nicht im Theater. Er merkte schnell, dass sich in Wien seine Liebe zur Dramatik (aber nur was die Bühne betrifft) und zur Medizin wunderbar verbinden lässt.
