Der gebürtige Syrer ist nicht nur ein Pendler zwischen den Kulturen, vor seiner heutigen Tätigkeit als Allgemeinmediziner, war er nämlich ein gefeierter Theaterautor. „Habe die Ehre“, Dr. Amir! Für dieses am Wiener Nestroytheater uraufgeführte Stück bekam er 2013 sogar den Nestroy-Preis. Aber alles schön der Reihe nach, wie bei jeder guten Anamnese: Nach seinem Dramaturgie-Studium in Aleppo, war Ibrahim eigentlich auf dem Weg nach Dublin und blieb in Wien hängen. Der Liebe wegen. Aber keine Angst, jetzt wird es nicht kitschig – immerhin befinden Sie sich noch immer auf der Homepage der Primärversorgung Josefstadt und nicht im Theater. Er merkte schnell, dass sich in Wien seine Liebe zur Dramatik (aber nur was die Bühne betrifft) und zur Medizin wunderbar verbinden lässt. Was ein guter Autor und ein noch besserer Arzt gemeinsam haben? Beide besitzen den diagnostischen Durchblick und finden die richtige Diagnose.

What should you take with you?
To ensure we can assist you promptly and effectively, please bring the following items: Your e-card: This is the most important thing for billing. Your vaccination record: Particularly important for check-ups or vaccination consultations. Current medical reports & medication list: This gives us an immediate overview of your health. Good mood: We bring that too, as it makes everything work much better! Important notice for EU patients: If you are not insured in Austria, please bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Make sure the 16-digit code on the back is clearly legible. A small request: Even though we can solve many things spontaneously: Please arrive at our reception 10 minutes before your appointment (or your planned visit). This allows us to complete the registration calmly and you can begin your treatment in a relaxed manner.
